For Coimbatore taxi and cab operators
Your own branded rider app, driver app and dispatch panel, so bookings for city rides, airport drops and outstation trips come to you instead of an aggregator.

How one booking moves
A taxi booking app is really three products sharing one backend. This is the path a single Coimbatore booking takes through them.
The rider sets pickup and drop, picks a hatchback, sedan or SUV, chooses a city ride, airport drop, rental or outstation trip and sees the fare before confirming.
The server offers the request to nearby online drivers of the right vehicle type; if no one accepts in time, it widens the radius or alerts your control room.
The driver accepts, navigates to the pickup and starts the trip only after the rider shares a one-time code, so the right person gets in the right car.
Rider, driver and your team see the car on the map. The rider can share the trip with family, and an emergency button reaches your control room.
Cash or online payment is recorded, both sides rate the trip, and the panel updates the driver's earnings and your commission or subscription records.
The Coimbatore market

Most operators who look for a taxi booking app development company in Coimbatore already run cars. They take calls for airport drops at Peelamedu, pickups from Coimbatore Junction and the bus stands, temple trips to Palani and Marudhamalai, and outstation runs to Ooty, Valparai, Kodaikanal or Kerala. The bookings arrive by phone and WhatsApp, the driver list sits in a notebook, and a busy weekend means missed calls and double bookings.
That mix shapes the app. City rides need fast matching and live tracking. Airport and railway drops are often booked a day ahead and need reminders for both rider and driver. Outstation trips need one way, round trip and multi-stop choices, night and hill charges set by you, and a clear record of kilometres and waiting time. Commuters in the IT and industrial areas along Avinashi Road and Saravanampatti want scheduled rides and monthly billing for their employers.
Itboomi is a dedicated mobile app development company with its office in Tiruppur, about an hour from Coimbatore. We design and build the rider app, driver app and admin panel as one product, and we can drive across to sit with your control room before the first screen is drawn.
Business models we build for
The apps share a core, but the screens, fare rules and reports change with the way you earn. We start by pinning down which of these describes you.
Your own cars and salaried or attached drivers. Fast matching, live tracking, shift logins and daily collection reports matter most.
Scheduled pickups booked hours or days ahead, flight or train details on the booking, reminders and a waiting-time rule.
One way, round trip and multicity trips, driver allowance and toll fields, and fares that you control per route and vehicle.
Rosters, pickup routes and monthly statements for companies that move staff between homes, offices and factories every shift.
Electric cars or autos that carry riders and small parcels from the same app, with separate flows and tracking for each.
Drivers pay you a daily, weekly or yearly plan instead of a per-ride commission, and the app switches them online only while a plan is active.
What gets built
A first release usually covers the rows below. Anything extra waits until real trips show it is needed.
Recent mobility work
These sit near the top of our portfolio. Swipe through on a phone; each card shows the real screens.

Cab booking app
On-demand cab booking with outstation one way, round trip and multicity trips, airport rides and local rentals, cab type and seating filters, and booking confirmed and cab assigned notices.

EV taxi and parcel app
Ride and parcel bookings in one app. The driver side has an online toggle, completed rides and earnings, and booking requests to accept or decline; riders see ongoing, completed and cancelled bookings.

Taxi app UI and UX design
A full design for a taxi and parcel product: OTP trip start, cash and online payment screens, driver earnings split by payment type and driver subscription plans.

Local travel information
Tamil Nadu bus timings, local updates and offers for people on the move, useful groundwork for any operator adding schedules or shared routes.
From first call to first trip
We sit with whoever takes your bookings today and list every trip type, fare rule and driver arrangement you run.
Screens for all three apps, the launch zone, payment routes and the reports you need are written down and agreed.
Rider and driver flows are designed together and tested on real phones by a few of your drivers.
Installable test builds every sprint, with dispatch and tracking tested on actual Coimbatore roads before launch.
We publish to Google Play and the App Store under your accounts, then fix, monitor and add features after launch.
Earning model
Aggregators take a share of every fare, and many Coimbatore drivers who work with them would rather pay a fixed amount and keep the rest. A booking app of your own lets you choose. With a commission model, the app calculates your share on each completed trip and settles it against the cash the driver collected. With a subscription model, drivers buy a daily, weekly or yearly plan and the app lets them go online only while a plan is active.
Both models need a clear driver statement: trips, cash collected, online payments received, deductions and what is owed in either direction. Disputes with drivers are almost always about that statement, so we design it early and test it with the drivers who will use it.
Maps and fares
Riders compare your fare with what they expect, and drivers check every kilometre, so the fare engine is where trust is won or lost. You set the base fare, per-kilometre and per-minute rates, minimum fare, waiting charge, night charge and hill or outstation allowances for each vehicle type. The app shows the rider an upfront figure, then records the actual route so any difference can be explained.
Map, routing and location services are usage-billed by most providers, so we design tracking to update often enough for a smooth map without calling the service more than needed. We explain those running charges before development, not after the first bill.
Safety and rules
Riders and their families need to feel safe in a car booked through your app. We build driver document upload and approval, vehicle details on every booking, OTP trip start, live trip sharing and an emergency button that alerts your control room. Ratings on both sides help you spot problems early.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways publishes Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines, first issued in 2020 and revised in 2025, and states apply their own rules on top. We build the features those rules usually ask for, and we recommend you confirm licensing for your exact model with the transport department or your adviser before launch.
Launch plan
The operators who succeed rarely launch everywhere at once. Start with the trips you already do well, often airport and railway drops plus a few city zones, move your existing phone customers onto the app and keep a manual booking screen for callers who still ring. Outstation, corporate and parcel flows can follow once the core is steady.
